Safe Tech is the culmination of a harness safety campaign that has been almost ten years in the making! With Safe Tech Harnesses, Metolius have all but eliminated the concept of low-strength components on a climbing harness by building safety into the harness itself, so that when someone makes a critical mistake (like belaying off a gear loop or tying-in improperly), there is a backup system in place that will catch the mistake and nullify it!
